MISSIONS NEWS AT OLIVET BAPTIST CHURCH
  
Spreading the good news of Jesus in Hamden and the surrounding communities is important, but there is also a need to support missionaries who will spread God's free gift of salvation to those in other lands. We support the following families/individuals not only financially, but also with prayer.
 

 Child Evangelism Fellowship --The staff at Child Evangelism of CT is seeking to  reach children thru various clubs and activities. For more information visit http://www.cefct.org

 Glenn Havumaki -- (The Chaplain at Elim Park Place, Cheshire CT.), and assistants Harry Egner, Dwight Campbell, Ken Milhous. Pray for these men as they continue to bring the news of Jesus to those in their latter years.

 Paul Hubley-- Paul is the executive director for more than 70 churches of the North East Baptist Conference.

 Mark Watkins--Mark is the director of Lakeside Christian Camp, which has various camps/ retreats for kids to adults!

 Wes Taber --Executive Director for the American Messianic Fellowship.

 Ken and Ruth Ha --Serving at the Vietnamese Baptist Church in Worchester, MA

 Ken & Debby Milhous -- Missionary/Pastor at the Japanese Boston Christian Church

 Steve and Carol Smith Serving the Lord in the Ivory Coast.
Pray specifically for their safety and also the financial need of the El Rapha Clinic. 

Hope for Life (Recently changed to Hope Pregnancy Center) is a crisis pregnancy center providing hope for the hopeless, counseling to woman and alternatives to abortion. Their free and confidential services include pregnancy tests, maternity and baby clothes, baby furnishings, parenting classes and referrals for adoption, (including financial, legal and medical aid). Olivet is one of the few churches in CT that supports Hope Pregnancy Center.
